Objectives
To provide consistency on managing the release of Science
Contract Reports for the Interior Columbia Basin Ecosystem Management Project
(ICBEMP).
Our intent is to:
The following reports were prepared by University scientists through cooperative
agreement, project science staff, or contractors as part of the ongoing efforts of the Interior Columbia
Basin Ecosystem Management Project, co-managed by the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management.
They were prepared for the express purpose of compiling information, reviewing available literature,
researching topics related to ecosystems within the Interior Columbia Basin, or exploring relationships
among biophysical and economic/social resources.
These reports have been reviewed by agency scientists as part of the ongoing ecosystem project, and have
been cited within the primary publications produced by the project. These reports may become the basis for
scientific journal articles or technical reports by the USDA Forest Service or USDI Bureau of Land Management.
The attached reports have not been through all the steps appropriate to final publishing as either scientific
journal articles or technical reports.
We have provided these science reports online for convenience only. Efforts were made to provide this
information as accurately and completely as possible, but errors in the electronic files may still exist.
For this reason, copies of these reports are available and may be purchased through contacting Icon Printing
at the following address:

Instructions for Viewing and/or Downloading the Science
Contract Reports
The Science Contract Reports are available for viewing
and downloading. Each report is an Adobe Acrobat .pdf (portable document
format) file. In order to view the document, Adobe Acrobat Reader software must
be installed on the PC. Adobe Acrobat Reader v3.0 software can be obtained free
of charge from the Adobe Web Page, which can be accessed by clicking on the icon
below.
To download the .pdf file to your personal computer without displaying on screen, right-click on the title of the contract report of choice. A pull-up menu will appear requesting that the file be saved in a directory on your computer. Depending on the type of browser used, the menu will have a different save command according to the list below:
